Is it raining or snowing where you are? Need something to keep your little ones busy. Pom Poms are great for crafting but also great for sensory play indoors as they are so easy to clean up. We came up with the following activities.
Pom Pom Grabbing with Clothes Pins
Attempt to grab as many as you can in one grabbing motion per turn.
Great for hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Counting Pom Poms
After we had grabbed all the Pom Poms we counted together. I won but not by much.
Sorting Pom Poms
Pom Pom Toss
Pretend Play- Pom Poms Were Boulders
Pretend Pretend Play- Pom Poms Were Dirt
Love this! I volunteer at a therapy center, we will have to do some of these activities with the kids there. I think the one with the clothespins would be great when we do the hipppotherapy!
