Does your toddler love games? Well Find My Piglet!, is an adorable memory game. It comes in a very sturdy cardboard construction box. The instructions are very cleverly printed and attached to the back of the lid of the box. I wish all child’s games came that way. The set includes a colorful poster for your child’s wall or playroom and a set of 63 illustrated playing cards. An individual set includes a mommy and baby of the animal family, such as kangaroo and joey. A great way to teach your child that babies from different animals are called different names. Memory games are great to play with children of different ages. For a younger child maybe just start with four matches and build as their attention level and memory grows.
Upon opening the set, my 4 year old and I went through the different mommy and babies first to make sure he was familiar with all the animals and to teach him what the babies are called. Then we played a game with 6 matching pairs or 12 cards. He did great and we are hoping to add more cards next time, but we plan to do it at a table so that my newly crawling baby doesn’t interrupt our game by trying to chew on the cards.
This is a great set for a birthday gift. I foresee many hours of fun in this timeless game. Fun for the whole family.
