The A to Z of Children’s Health Book Review

The A to Z of Children’s Health is not what I expected, It was so much more.

Written by Experts- Dr. Jeremy Friedman, Dr. Natasha Saunders, and Dr. Norman Saunders all work at a Canadian Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children. They collaborated together to create this new book, The A to Z of Children’s Health, to help with day to day issues and help parents feel more at ease to deal with common conditions of childhood. Now you can feel confident in when to take your child to the MD or know when they have something less severe.

The book is filled with up to date evidence based information so you can feel more at ease, than checking the not always reliable internet source. Plus having a copy in your home you would have the information you need, at a moments notice. Big colorful photos and how urgent the condition is. Sometimes you just want to know if the condition can wait to have your child seen by an MD until tomorrow. My kid also seems to get sick when the MD office is closed. Doesn’t yours?

Easy to Understand- Written in a textbook format with charts, side note, things that you can do for the condition. It has tips and what you can do to help alleviate symptoms or behavioral conditions. For some of the conditions it has real scenarios of what has happened to others. The scenarios are great for a better understanding that others have gone through the same thing too.

  • How to deal with allergies, latest reccommendations re: when to introduce various foods, ect.
